Nigeria Strengthens Global Trade Ties Through Bahrain Agrocommodities Expo and Singapore Summit with Aquatechnology Forum (2026) By National Brands Development and Made in Nigeria Project Office, Abuja

Nigeria is set to showcase its industrial, agricultural, and technological prowess in two major international events in 2026, reflecting the country’s strategic focus on promoting local production, boosting exports, and forging strong global partnerships.

Nigeria-Bahrain Agrocommodities & Food Expo
Dates: April 1–5, 2026
Location: Manama, Bahrain

The Nigeria-Bahrain Agrocommodities & Food Expo will serve as a key platform for Nigerian businesses to present locally-produced agricultural goods and processed foods to investors and buyers from the Middle East. Organized under the Made in Nigeria Project Office in collaboration with Bahrain trade authorities, the expo aims to:

  • Promote Nigerian food and agro-processing brands to international markets.

  • Facilitate trade partnerships between Nigerian exporters and Bahraini investors.

  • Highlight high-value agricultural commodities, including cocoa, cashew, shea butter, and processed food products.

  • Support Nigeria’s broader agenda of industrialization and economic diversification away from crude oil dependency.

The event will also feature B2B meetings, investment forums, and workshops, providing a unique opportunity for Nigerian entrepreneurs to explore joint ventures, distribution networks, and export financing.

Following the Bahrain expo, Nigeria will further strengthen its international trade presence at the Nigeria-Singapore Summit, held in tandem with the Aquatechnology Forum. This summit is designed to foster collaboration in trade, investment, and water technologies, critical for industrial and agricultural development. Key objectives include:

  • Promoting technology-driven solutions in water management, irrigation, and aquaculture through the Aquatechnology Forum.

  • Attracting Singaporean and Asian investors into Nigeria’s agro-industrial and technology sectors.

  • Expanding Nigeria’s exports of processed food, beverages, and high-value agricultural commodities.
