8. RECOMMENDATIONS AND LESSONS LEARNT
The Made in Nigeria Project Office should be effectively supported by the government, morally, financially, and otherwise, to enable it to meet up with its responsibilities and continue to sustain momentum and build on the successes of the Hong Kong events.
The Summit suffered a serious setback due to the withdrawal of subscribers who initially indicated interest in taking part in the Summit due to uncomplimentary remarks from some staff of PEAO- OSGF. As a lesson learnt, staff of PEAO-OSGF who know next to nothing about the Project should be warned not to run the Project down with their negative remarks.
9. CONCLUSION
Overall, promoting Nigerian-made products and services globally will have significant economic, social, and competitive benefits, contributing to Nigeria's economic growth and development.
