Made in Nigeria Project Office Set to Participate in AgriteQ 2026 in Doha, Qatar

The Made in Nigeria Project Office (MINPO), operating under the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), is preparing for a strategic international engagement at AgriteQ 2026, scheduled to hold from 4th to 8th February 2026 in Doha, Qatar.

This participation aligns with Nigeria’s ongoing efforts to strengthen food security, boost agricultural innovation, and expand global market access for Nigerian-made products.

As part of its mandate, MINPO continues to support national brand development, agro-industrial growth, and international trade facilitation. The AgriteQ platform offers an opportunity for Nigeria to showcase its agricultural potential while deepening collaborations with global industry leaders.

Why AgriteQ 2026 Matters to Nigeria

AgriteQ is one of the world’s leading agricultural exhibitions, focusing on:

  • Food Security

  • Agricultural Innovation & Technology

  • Sustainability & Climate-Resilient Farming

  • International Trade and Partnerships

Nigeria's participation directly aligns with these priorities, especially as the nation strengthens local agribusiness and seeks new foreign markets for Nigerian agricultural products.

Nigeria’s Key Focus Areas at AgriteQ 2026

1. Showcasing Nigeria’s Agricultural Produce & Agro-Processed Goods

Made in Nigeria Project Office will highlight Nigeria’s diverse agricultural potential, from raw produce to value-added agro-processed products. This aligns with global food security efforts and positions Nigerian exports for entry into Qatari and international value chains.

2. Promoting Agritech Solutions from Nigeria

Nigeria’s agritech ecosystem is expanding rapidly, with innovations such as:

  • Smart irrigation systems

  • Digital farming technologies

  • Biotechnology and crop-improvement innovations

These solutions will be presented to match AgriteQ’s core theme of agricultural innovation.

3. Demonstrating Sustainable, Climate-Smart Agriculture

Nigeria will showcase environmental stewardship through:

  • Climate-resilient farming methods

  • Organic and low-carbon agricultural practices

  • Sustainable rural agribusiness models

These practices reflect shared priorities with the global sustainability agenda.

4. Facilitating International Partnerships & Investment Dialogues

The Made in Nigeria Project Office will organize structured B2B meetings, trade engagements, and investment roundtables connecting Nigerian farmers, manufacturers, and exporters with international buyers, investors, and development partners.

Request for Participation Procedures & Collaboration

To ensure a seamless and impactful presence, the Made in Nigeria Project Office is seeking guidance from the AgriteQ 2026 organizers on the following:

  • Registration and participation requirements

  • Booth allocations, exhibition package details, and country pavilion opportunities

  • Access to thematic forums, including the Biotechnology and Innovation Forums

  • Any available collaboration mechanisms that would amplify Nigeria’s showcasing capacity

Such guidance will enable Nigeria to prepare effectively for a high-level, well-coordinated participation at the exhibition.

MINPO’s Commitment to National Economic Growth

The Made in Nigeria Project Office remains committed to:

  • Enhancing Nigeria’s global trade visibility

  • Supporting local producers and manufacturers

  • Strengthening agro-industrial development

  • Building Nigeria’s national brand through international engagement

Its participation at AgriteQ 2026 is a strategic step toward positioning Nigeria as a key player in global agribusiness and sustainable food systems.
